Managing Director: Margaret Brosnan
Margaret was in the fashion industry for many years selling ladies high fashion and supporting Irish designers such as Louise Kennedy, Sharon Hoey and Lainey Knits.
She also had a bridal boutique in Naas, delivering a full service of wedding dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses, morning suits, car hire, wedding cakes and invitations.
Since then, CDU has grown - constantly adding new designs of jackets, trousers, skirts, dresses, blouses, scarfs, ties and knitwear to the range.
Operations Director: G O'Connor
Gearoid has over 20 years in the technology industry as a software developer and security consultant. He has also worked in Communications, Media and Public Relations. He has extensive experience working with large corporate enterprises and has helped digitise the CDU business with the launch of its original website and its recent refresh.
He has also developed key billing and invoicing processes. He is responsible for operational oversight and the Business and Financial Planning of CDU to ensure it remains competitive.
Accounts & Sales: Sonia O’Connor
Margaret’s daughter was educated by the Presentation Sisters in Tralee. Upon finishing secondary school, she went into the beauty industry as a trained hairdresser working in London. Newbridge, and Tralee. Having decided to switch to an administrative role with Enable Ireland, and The Wheelchair Society she decided to join the family business (CDU) and worked in the accounts function but also as the Sales Rep for Munster. While working in the company , she volunteered for the Civil Defence, and has trained and qualified as a Paramedic. She still works with the business, on sales and accounts.
